Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical curative effect of the pants-like anastomosis and combined Billroth Ⅱ with Braun anastomosis in laparoscopically assisted distal gastrectomy. Methods The data of 71 patients undergoing laparoscopically assisted distal gastrectomy in Yijishan Hospital of Wannan Medical College from January 2018 to April 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. The subjects were divided into pants-like anastomosis group (n = 33) and Billroth Ⅱ + Braun anastomosis group (n = 38) according to the surgery method. Results The pants-like anastomosis group showed shorter duration of operation, time to pass gas after surgery, hospital stays, and time for anastomosis as well as less surgery cost than those in Billroth Ⅱ+ Braun anastomosis group (P < 0.05). There was no difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups (P > 0.05). No patients developed anastomotic bleeding, duodenal stump leakage, or gastroplegia. Reflux gastritis and stomal ulcer were not observed under gastroscope in any patients 3 to 6 months after surgery. No patients complained about digestive symptoms including acid reflux and belching. Conclusion Pants-like anastomosis is a simple and feasible method for digestive tract reconstruction, and it provides a novel approach of gastrojejunostomy in laparoscopically assisted distal gastrectomy.
