Selenium binding protein 1 (SBP1)is a member of selenoprotein family,hasbeen shown to covalently bind selenium and participate in the transportation ofproteinsin Golgibody.Many studiesshowed thatSBP1 is a novel tumor suppressor protein closely related to tumor cell proliferation,differentiation and apoptosis.The aim of thispaperisto investigate thecorrelations between selenium binding protein 1 and tumoroccurrence,development,differentiation,proliferation,apoptosis,metastasis,chemotherapy sensitivity and prognosis,so asto provide a scien-tific guidance for early diagnosis and individualized therapy of tumors,improve the prognosis of tumor patients.
